What is Australian
Aged Care Innovators?

Australian Aged Care Innovators (AACI) is an initiative created to support and elevate innovation in Aged Care.

Our overall aim is to improve the aged care experience for all participants: older people receiving services, dedicated staff, management and executives, family members and service providers.

It’s challenging for providers to have the time to discover emerging innovations and meet the founders. It’s also challenging for innovators and product and service suppliers to connect with aged care providers.

AACI can help fill this gap and bring together Aged Care entrepreneurs, product and service suppliers and Aged Care providers to collaborate, communicate and learn from each other.

AACI Network and Learn Events

We’ve created AACI to bring innovative products and services to those who need them in aged care. It is challenging for providers to have the time to find out about all the new innovations and meet the founders. It’s also challenging for founders and product owners to connect with the right people at aged care providers.

Our intention is to fill this gap and bring together Aged Care entrepreneurs, product and service suppliers and Aged Care providers so we can work together and learn from each other.

By advancing innovation we can modernise and improve care.

Together we can create efficiencies that improve systems, offer better services and deliver better outcomes for those in care.

So we are organising AACI events Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.

AACI FIRST EVENT

Sydney June 2023

The first AACI event in Sydney was a great success. We all had such a fabulous night! Attendees included Aged Care Providers, Innovators, Consultants, Corporate representatives and other like-minded people who support innovation in Aged Care.

The buzz was electric during the networking sessions. 

Some really great, engaging discussions and interactions, hugs, laughter, a few drinks and meaningful connections made.

This is exactly what we had hoped to achieve. To bring people together in a fun, inspiring way and give them the opportunity to share their expertise, create new friendships, expand their professional network and form valuable connections. It was a great hub of collaboration and ideas exchange. 

We believe these kinds of connections are instrumental in driving innovation and progress in aged care.

AACI Founders

AACI was founded by two Aged Care Innovators, Julie Hogarth-Williams and Jeannie-Marie Noyce, both dedicated to improving Aged Care through innovation and collaboration. Julie and Jeannie-Marie understand the founder journey from idea to MVP to co-design, launch and beyond and have come together to support other founders and Aged Care Providers.

The SeniorsChannel’s interactive content is designed to help alleviate isolation, loneliness and disconnection for older Australians through programs carefully crafted to promote engagement and connection.

Jeannie-Marie Noyce

Brenna is a communication app designed specifically for residential aged care.

Brenna allows nurses to send information on a resident’s condition to family members via a secure mobile app. It makes communication from staff to family members simple and easy.
